Showing Up for Racial Justice - Bay Area (a group of white folks committed to fighting white supremacy) organized a protest at the home of Mayor Libby Schaaf, in response to the call from the Anti Police-Terror Project for 96 Hours of Direct Action to #ReclaimMLK Day.

In response to the call from the Anti-Police Terror Project for 96 Hours of Direct Action to Reclaim MLK in the Bay Area, local fast food workers shut down the McDonald's at 45th & Telegraph in Oakland, CA to demand justice for all fast food workers.

After a 3 years of sustained organizing, the No New SF Jail coalition (including Critical Resistance, Californians United for a Responsible Budget, the TGI Justice Project, Ella Baker Center and dozens of other community organizations) defeated the proposal to build a new jail in San Francisco on December 15th, 2015.

On December 2nd, 2015, 5 San Francisco Police Officers gunned down 26 year old Bayview resident Mario Woods in broad daylight. Mario's family/loved ones, the Bayview community, Black San Francisco residents, and allies across the nation demand JUSTICE FOR MARIO WOODS! Support Mario's family here: We need to raise another $10,000 to give Mario a proper burial.

On December 2nd, 2015, 26 year old Bayview/Hunter's Point resident Mario Woods was executed by a San Francisco Police Department firing squad in broad daylight. Please support Mario's family during this time. Funds for funeral services are needed.
